[All the techniques needed to knit this hat can be found in my Basic Knitting Tutorial]
I used Lion Brand Homespun yarn
Pattern: Using no. 7 needles cast on 30 stitches. Knit each row until the pieces measures 19". Bind off. Fold in half lengthwise. Sew the top and side together (pictured below). Turn inside out. The square shape turns into cat ears when placed on the head.

ReplyDeletei do have a question, i'm using a lighter weight yarn, so 30 of my stitches look a good bit shorter than your 30. could you give a measurement of the width of the knitting?
