diy lace halloween cat ears

These lace cat ears are a glamorous take on the traditional, cartoon-ish Halloween staple. Pair these with some cat's eye liner and a black lace dress and you'll be the prettiest kitty at the party!

Supplies:
  • wire headband (available at most drug stores)
  • black pipe cleaners
  • black lace
  • needle and thread (or if you prefer, craft glue)

[Cut 3 1/2" off the end of the pipe cleaner. Twist it around the headband at the top side]
[Bend the pipe cleaner and attach the other end to the headband]
[Bend the middle and top of the ear to give it a more pointed appearance]
[Repeat on the other side]
[Cut a square of lace out and place it over the ear]
[Sew the lace on to the pipe cleaner. The thread is wrapped around- not pierced through the pipe cleaner. If you don't know how to sew you can use craft glue to attach the lace]
[Cut the excess lace off]
[Don't cut the lace too close to the pip cleaner. Repeat steps on the other ear]
