• Small elastics
• Bobby pins 

[Gather a section of hair at the side of your head]

[Make a braid gently guiding hair towards the back of your hair]

[Loosely secure with an elastic]

[Beginning on one side of the braid gently pull each section, making the braid loose. Repeat on the other side of the braid. When you are finished, secure the elastic so it is tight]

[Repeat the process on the other side so you have 2 matching braids]

[Wrap the braid across the back of your head and pin in place]
